 PALOS VERDES, Calif. - The aircrews from Air Station Los Angeles spent the day June 26 here training for possible cliff rescues in the area.  A rescue swimmer is lowered from the helicopter to the cliff as saftey observer, AN John D. Niel, diligently watches for anything that might harm the swimmer. Each rescue swimmer was lowered to the cliffs near the Point Vicente Lighthouse where he simulated picking up a victim.  Coast Guard photo by PA2 Allyson E.T. Conroy.
